De Pijp by Lex

The window exhibition at my photostudio/house, Rustenburgerstraat 80, explained.

In the early fifties, the famous Amsterdam photographer Eddy Posthuma de Boer (✞ 2021) worked and lived for a few years in this house. At the end of 2017 I asked Eddy to come and see the house in its 'old' state. I took this picture during that visit. Eddy is standing in the left doorway.

Daily beautiful pictures and more from the lively district of Amsterdam named De Pijp and published on Facebook and sometimes on Instagram. De Pijp is also known as Amsterdam's Quartier Latin and situated in the southern part of Amsterdam. I live in this neighborhood and I never leave home without a camera . My pictures are mainly in black and white but sometimes in color.
